Once arriving at the airport you can take a train that runs from the airport to the central railroad station of Stazione Termini or you can choose to take a bus or taxi. The train is usually the easiest to take and operates every 30 minutes. The trip itself takes about 30 minutes and costs only 11 Euros. To take a taxi you should plan to spend between 30 and 40 Euros but they run all hours of the day and night whereas the train only runs until 10:52pm and starts again at 5:52am. The bus will take you to the train station in Tiburtina where you can catch another bus to either the main station or almost anywhere in the city. Ciampino is the other airport that services Rome and it is about 20km southeast of the city centre. Mainly serving domestic and charter flights, you can reach the city centre via buses or taxis. The bus runs every 40 minutes to the Anagnina stop of the Subway Line A, or o the Termini Station. Costing between 30 and 40 Euros, this is the easiest way to travel. You can also take a taxi which has a flat rate of 40 Euros for up to four people with luggage included. It will take you into the city or to the other airport.
